Time, Weather, and Focus-Aware for macOS
Having trouble with Horizon? Start here. Most issues can be fixed in a minute, and you can always email support if you need help.
First, make sure Horizon is running by looking for the Horizon icon in your menu bar. Then open Horizon and check Schedule settings to confirm at least one time slot is turned on. You can also click Skip to move to the next wallpaper.
Location is optional, but it helps Horizon match your desktop to your real sunrise, sunset, and local weather. If you do not allow location, Horizon still works using fallback timing. You can change this anytime in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services.
Accessibility permission is only needed if you turn on global keyboard shortcuts. It lets Horizon respond to shortcuts while you are using other apps. Horizon does not record your typing or inspect other app content. You can grant it in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Accessibility.
Horizon uses Apple WeatherKit first, with Open-Meteo as a fallback when needed. Open Horizon Settings > General and make sure location is enabled. If you recently moved or changed networks, quit and reopen Horizon so macOS can refresh the location it gives the app.
Open Horizon > Premium > Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed into the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase. The App Store handles the restore, so Horizon never sees your payment information.
Yes. Open Settings > Library > Your Wallpapers. You can import your own images and Horizon will help organize them by time of day based on file names and image brightness.
Email support with your macOS version, what you expected to happen, and what actually happened. If the issue involves Premium, include whether you are signed into the same Apple ID you used for the purchase.
